We continue our collection of French films exclusively available on digital through Under the Milky Way, with a pair of titles that premiered at The French film festival in Los Angeles, COLCOA, in 2013. What’s In a Name? (Le Prénom) was a huge hit in France prior to its US release, when it was chosen as the New York Times ‘Pick of the Week’. The Dandelions (Du vent dans mes mollets) was a less high profile affair, but we believe it is equally deserving of attention.

20 Years of COLCOA

One of the things we are proudest of at Under The Milky Way is our ability to bring exclusive French films to audiences in the US that would not otherwise be available in this country. The number one French Film Festival in the United States, COLCOA returns to Los Angeles this month, and we take this opportunity to look back on some of the films that premiered at COLCOA in previous years, that UWM has now proudly presents on VOD.

Some all time comedy classics from France this week: kicking off with the second biggest film of all time in France, Welcome to the Sticks, then the film so funny Hollywood remade it The Dinner Game, and finally an all time great with Louis de Funès, Delusions of Grandeur.
