Camille Cottin (Call My agent) will face Lady Gaga in new Gucci’s biopic

Recently signed by UTA, one of America's biggest talent agencies, it was only a matter of time before Camille Cottin landed roles in Hollywood!

Camille Cottin, a former English teacher, is best known in America for her roles in the French comedy series available on Netflix Call my agent! (Dix pour cent) and in the BBC America hit series, Killing Eve

It was announced this week that Camille Cottin has been cast in Hollywood’s ambitious biopic House of Gucci, which will tell the story of the birth of the Italian fashion empire as well as the tragic assassination of its founder. The French actress will step into the shoes of Paola Franchi, the woman with whom Maurizio Gucci wanted to start a new life after divorcing Patricia Reggiani (Lady Gaga).

The movie, directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Alien, The Martian) will also feature Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons and Adam Driver who will take on the role of Maurizio Gucci.

But that’s not all for Cottin. She will soon star in Tom McCarthy's drama Stillwater alongside Matt Damon, in what will be her first American film. The big question now is will Camille Cottin follow the steps of world-renowned French actresses such as Juliette Binoche and Marion Cotillard?
