You haven't seen the last of Marion Cotillard, as the incredibly raw and slightly harrowing tale of Angel Face will soon be making its North American debut. 

The dramatic starlet, known for La Vie en Rose, Inception and Rust and Bone, plays the single mother to 8 year old Elli (Ayline Aksoy-Etaix) who struggles with excessive partying and alcohol, and just all around not being around for the daughter that has no one else. In an unlikely event, Elli finds comfort in an unexpected father figure, played by Alban Lenoir. As painful as this story seems, Cotillard gives a deeply moving and authentic performance as usual, in Vanessa Filho's directorial debut, Gueule d'ange.
