The Dinner Game (Le Dinner de Cons) is a hilarious and outrageous comedy about a group of well to do Parisians who engage in a rather awful dinner game: they each bring an unsuspecting ‘idiot’ to their weekly dinner parties. At the end of the dinner, when the guests of honor have departed, the evening's "champion idiot" is selected. One week however, Pierre Brochant, aspiring master of the game, bites off more than he can chew when he is forced to rely on his idiot after injuring his back… A smash hit in France on it’s release, it was remade as ‘Dinner for Schmucks’ in 2010 with Steve Carrel and Paul Rudd.
