The Players (Les Infidèles)

Oops, just missed it! This film is no longer available on Netflix streaming or DVD.

Here's a movie that without a doubt, defies expectations. The Players (Les infidèles) is a mixture of outrageous testosterone- driven American debauchery, reminiscent of Todd Phillips' The Hangover, and French hyper- sexual situational comedy.

Jean Dujardin is just as charming as one might suspect, while Gilles Lellouche has a strong and dynamic screen presence in six vignettes, directed by eight different directors, including Michel Hazanavicius (The Artist), and both of the stars themselves.

The stories span from gay lovers, to cheaters anonymous groups, to the simple, yet classic story of a guy cheating on his wife and feeling guilty about it.

If you're ready for a break from the more cerebral and poetic French film, The Players is definitely a surefire, sillier choice to satisfy any adventurous and preposterous craving you may have.
