Happily Ever After

NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE TO STREAM ON NETFLIX. NOW AVAILABLE ON NETFLIX DVDStarring, writing, directing- Yvan Attal does it all in Happily Ever After Of course, what he happily shows us is this: marriage is quite simply, and quite often... Hell.

This message is told primarily in the form of two married families, one a tornado of screams and insults, and one that conceals a silent, and suspicious affair.

As Gabrielle, Charlotte Gainsbourg is no longer the Princess of Awkward that we saw in The Science of Sleep, but instead dives head first into the toils and troubles of marriage and parenthood with Vincent (Attal). Their friends Thibault (Sebastien Vidal) and Chloe (Chloe Combret) attempt sanity while ferociously hating and loving each other in tandem.

Yet, however difficult it is for this group to cohabit and raise children with the loves of their lives, they realize that this is life, and they can either cheat it, or fall in love all over again.

If all of the sweat, blood and tears put into family life doesn't hold your attention, the surprise scenes of Johnny Depp will!
