L’académie des Oscars prend un accent français !

Désireux de diversifier ses votants, l’académie des Oscars a publié la liste des 928 membres qui rejoindront ses rangs. Parmi eux, de très nombreux français et francophones dont Tahar Rahim, Michel Gondry ou encore Léa Seydoux.

L’académie était attendue au tournant. Après les récents scandales sur le manque de diversité parmi les votants, puis l’affaire Weinstein et ses nombreuses répercussions dans l’industrie cinématographique, on pouvait s’attendre à ce que les Oscars frappent un grand coup. C’est chose faite avec l’annonce des 928 nouveaux membres, parmi lesquels 49 % de femmes. On retrouve parmi eux beaucoup de français et francophones, qu’ils soient acteurs, réalisateurs, scénaristes, ou encore directeur de la photographie :
