There's a bit of of Wes Anderson in Erwan Le Duc's Perdrix, a delirious and poetic film that elevated the romantic comedy genre.

Pierre Perdrix has been living a hectic life since meeting the elusive Juliette Webb. Like a tornado, she will sow desire and disorder in her world and her family.

"A breezy little sweetheart of a debut that threatens to give the rather ominous description 'quirky French romantic comedy' a good name." - Variety

An intriguing and nerve-racking teen-movie that benefits from the magnetic performance of Lily Rose-Depp.

In summertime, somewhere in Dordogne in the south of France, teenagers start disappearing. The wildest rumors are circulating and the police are left scrambling.
"Much more suggestive than scary, the script (which Mariette co-wrote with Marie Amachoukeli) seems to pay homage to Cat People and other evocative B-movies where the monster is always just out of sight — less seen than heard or felt, and more of a monster from within." - Hollywood Reporter

Duelles (2019)

The Hitchcock influence is very present in Duelles, a wonderfuly executed psychological thriller.

"A stylish, well-played retro thriller" - Hollywood Reporter

L'heure de sortie (2018)

A very unique film that is fiercely political and perterbing, but in the best way possible. A must-see if you crave the unexpected and the unsettling.

A high school teacher throws himself from the classroom window before the terrified eyes of his students. Despite the tragedy, six of them remain oddly cool and unemotional.

School's Out packs an impressive amount of ideological and tonal punch into what at first appearance could be mistaken for pedestrian genre film fare.- AWFJ Women on Film
