The title translates to "white spats", said spats being worn constantly by the wealthy, eccentric Keriadec. Already an object of derision from the villagers, Keriadec is in danger of physical assault when he begins making advances towards the girl friend of the town's saloon keeper. Pattes Blanches is a freeflowing adaptation of a play by Jean Anouilh.
