Jean-Louis lives a peaceful bourgeois existence in his Parisian apartment with his neurotic socialite wife Suzanne. His life is turned upside down when Maria, their new Spanish maid, introduces him to the female servants on the 6th floor and he discovers an exuberant and colorful world.
