La passion d'Augustine

Directed by Léa Pool and nominated for the Festival du Film Francophone d'Angoulême 2015, this Canadian film centers on a small convent school in the rural part of Quebec, where the main character, Mother Augustine, seeks to provide a musical education to all young girls in the area, no matter their background. Due to the impending changes imposed by the Vatican II, along with Quebec’s Quiet Revolution, the school begins to face many challenges for its future.
