In the turbulent aftermath of the Tunisian revolution, a young woman flees from her country to France after informing on her brother, an Islamist radical. Adrift in Paris as an undocumented immigrant, Samia finds that her struggles have only begun. Without friends or family, she has to make a life and a living in a foreign land. Seeking help from a fellow countryman, Samia is pulled back into the traditions and religious extremism she risked her life to escape. With courage and resolve, she finds employment, but as the story unfolds Samia becomes enmeshed in a web of sexual tension and intrigue. Longing for freedom and peace of mind, Samia is determined to survive at all costs.
