Twenty-year-old Belinda, all high heels and long hair, sets out to meet David upon his release from Colmar Prison. Twenty-five-year-old David, a little cross hanging from his neck, is ready to do anything to be with Belinda. They both want to get married at city hall in Mulhouse in the presence of their two guests. Although it is certain that they love each other, it is not so certain that they'll manage to get married.
