When, in 2009, the director Lea Glob meets Apolonia, a child of the Parisian bohemia raised among a community of artists attending the theater founded by her father, she has no idea that she will be filming her for thirteen years. With successive touches, the Danish filmmaker composes an enthralling portrait of a young woman who takes us with her on her quest for creative emancipation.
