The festival Rendez-Vous With French Cinema is back in NYC!

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and UniFrance have announced the selection of the 24th Rendez-Vous With French Cinema à New York, a festival which will take place from February 28 through March 10.

For almost twenty-five years, the Rendez-Vous With French Cinema à New York has been an opportunity for New Yorkers to discover the best of recent French films through a selection of films curated with passion by the Film Society of Lincoln Center.

The 2019 edition, which presents New York, American, or North American premiere screenings of 21 films (and a mini-series), once again demonstrates the fertility of the French film landscape and of the many voices of which it is composed.

The films will be screened in the presence of contemporary French film directors such as Bruno Dumont, Pierre Salvadori, Sébastien Marnier, Eva Husson, Hélène Fillières, Sophie Fillières, Mikhaël Hers, Mia Hansen-Løve, Judith Davis, and Emmanuel Mouret.

Actors Pio Marmaï, Élodie Bouchez, and Déborah Lukumuena will also be attending, along with a dozen French producers and international sales agents, who will participate, on March 1, at the now traditional pitching session opposite American distributors.

Bertrand Tavernier will also be present for the special screening of Round Midnight, and for a discussion with writer Russell Banks, this year's patron of the Rendez-Vous.
