Listen to Julie Delpy discuss her career and her approach to comedy

The conversation was moderated by Film Society programmer Florence Almozini, and in it, Delpy talked about moving from acting in dramas to directing comedies, working with Jean-Luc Godard, and her aspirations to perform stand-up comedy.

Delpy is one of contemporary French cinema’s great renaissance talents: she’s an accomplished writer, director, actor, and composer. Her latest comedy, Lolo, had its New York premiere in the Rendez-Vous with French Cinema festival and, before its first screening, Delpy joined The Film Society of Lincoln Center for a Free Talk sponsored by HBO.
